If you use an earlier version (prior to 4.5) of the Aster nCluster ODBC driver and a table does not exist, you receive an error message similar to the following:

proc print data=j.CCONPP3c;
ERROR: File J.CCONPP3c.DATA does not exist.

However, after you install the Aster nCluster 4.5 ODBC driver, you might receive an unusual message similar to the following:

proc print data=j.CCONPP3c;
ERROR: CLI prepare error: [AsterData][nCluster] ERROR: relation "cconpp3c"
       does not exist ()
SQL statement: SELECT * FROM CCONPP3c.

This message is unusual because normally (as in the first error message above), the message that is generated is specific to SAS. The first message above states that the file does not exist. However, after you install the 4.5 ODBC driver, the message that is generated is specific to Aster. The Aster error states that a relation does not exist.
